About Pets Live Remastered
The original game
Storm8 released Pets Live on iOS in December 2009 and on Android in 2010. It was a free, online pet game made of screens of buttons, stats and results: find pets, train them, battle other trainers and show them off. It belonged to Storm8's "Live" family of games, next to iMobsters, World War and Kingdoms Live.
Storm8 retired its classic games in late 2015. Pets Live could not be played anymore, and its pet list and exact numbers were lost.
The remake
A first version of this remake was written in 2020. It worked out the original rules, but many screens were left half-built. In 2026 the game was rebuilt: the old bugs and exploits fixed, the missing features finished, and everything made ready for players. It opened to everyone on .
The goal is a faithful revival. The rules come from the original game, recovered from the game itself, its players' memories, the official forum and old screenshots. Where the details were lost, the features were rebuilt the way a Storm8 "Live" game would have done them. A few things are new, such as goals, bosses and the chat. What changes is in the changelog.
